The Polish military said it deployed its own and NATO allies' air defence systems to shoot down Russian drones after they entered its airspace. This is the first time since the Ukraine war broke out that Poland has engaged with Russian assets in the air. The US Federal Aviation Administration reported that Poland shut four of its airports.

Israel had informed US about its decision to strike Hamas leaders in Qatar, a US official told ABC News. Notably, Qatar gifted a luxury jet to US President Donald Trump in May for use as Air Force One to transport him. Trump said he wasn't party to the decision to bomb Qatar, and it was Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's call.

US President Donald Trump has urged EU officials to hit India and China with tariffs of up to 100% as part of a strategy to pressure Russian President Vladimir Putin, Reuters reported. Notably, China and India are major purchasers of Russian oil. Currently, the US has imposed 50% tariffs on India, including 25% penalty tariff over Russian oil purchases.
