'The Great Indian Kapil Show' has sparked a controversy after the makers were sent a legal notice for insulting Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore in an episode. Now, Bengali poet Srijato Bandyopadhyay has criticised Krushna Abhishek for mocking the work of Tagore. "There is a thin line between humour and mockery...Often, people disregard whom they are joking about," he stated.

Ali Fazal said he is a non-violent person, which is in complete contrast to his "violent" show 'Mirzapur'. "My insides don't accept that," he told Sucharita Tyagi. Ali also spoke about a scene in 'Mirzapur' where his character kills someone in a manner that he thought was "very unnecessary". "I thought it was...wrong, why would you write that?" said Ali.

Actor Sanjay Kapoor recalled living with his family in a 2 BHK Chembur apartment during his childhood. "We would sleep on mattresses in living room. We only had one AC in the house, which was in my mom-dad's room, so I would sometimes sleep on the sofa in their room at night," he said while speaking on 'Timeout With Ankit'.

Singer Diljit Dosanjh received notice from Telangana authorities, asking him not to sing songs that promote alcohol, drugs and violence and also warned him against using children during his show in Hyderabad, The Indian Express reported. This came after Chandigarh-based Assistant Professor Panditrao Dharenavar complained against Diljit, saying he sang objectionable songs during his Delhi concert.

Suriya-starrer 'Kanguva' suffers from weak narration and writing, Hindustan Times wrote in its review. "The writing by Siva elevates the hero...but doesn't do justice to the other characters in the film," the review read. Suriya is "absolutely flawless" and has outdone himself as Kanga, and Bobby Deol is superb as the villain, the review stated.

The film 'Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling', starring Jaya Bachchan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Wamiqa Gabbi, has begun filming in Goa under the direction of Vikas Bahl. Produced by Ramesh Taurani and Harman Baweja, among others, this anticipated film also features Swanand Kirkire in a key role and is set for a 2025 theatrical release.

R Madhavan's social drama 'Hisaab Barabar' will premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on November 26 in Goa. Directed by Ashwni Dhir, the film follows the story of a railway ticket checker who uncovers a financial fraud. The film also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kirti Kulhari in key roles.
