Trishna Ray, a 19-year-old student at Odisha's KIIT School of Fashion Technology, has been crowned Miss Teen Universe 2024 at the pageant held in South Africa. She's the daughter of Colonel Dillip Kumar Ray and Rajashree Ray. "This accomplishment is a testament to her dedication and encouragement of those who stood by her from India and beyond," the pageant said.

Italy Mora, Miss Universe contestant from Panama, has been expelled after allegations of unauthorised visit to her boyfriend's hotel room. "Our candidate was in a room other than the one assigned to her, accompanied by a person outside the pageant production," Miss Panama Organization said. Mora denied the allegations, stating she was expelled after argument with Miss Universe Panama director.

Pictures of Shah Rukh Khan's IIFA Awards 2024 look emerged online, with the 59-year-old actor seen wearing an 18-carat rose gold Audemars Piguet watch and jewellery from designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's label. The watch is reportedly worth ₹4.6 crore. Shah Rukh sported a leather jacket during the event and accessorised his look with two Sabyasachi neck pieces and a beaded bracelet.

Actress Alia Bhatt's sari for Diwali was plant-dyed with marigolds from Mumbai's Siddhivinayak temple, her stylist Ami Patel revealed. The organza sari was custom-made by sustainable brand Re-Ceremonial. She paired it with blouse made out of aged metal gota with adjustable side drawstrings for changing measurements. Alia's husband Ranbir and daughter Raha also wore Re-Ceremonial's outfits.

Italian luxury fashion house Moschino has launched a new bag shaped like celery sticks. Priced at $4,470 (over ₹3.7 lakh), it features a "digital print with a three-dimensional effect". Commenting on it, a social media user wrote, "Sometimes I feel that the luxury brands mock the human kind." "These brands know no difference between creativity and foolishness," another comment read.

Leena Nair, the first Indian-origin CEO of luxury brand Chanel, said one has to do "tough" things in business but they should do it with compassion. "I truly believe in benevolence, kindness, compassion and empathy," she said at Stanford University. "If I'm in a meeting, I want to listen to every voice because I…believe in collective intelligence," added Nair.
